A MOMENT IN TIME…On a cool spring morning in April 1955, a group of businessmen took an early stroll through a secluded area of woods and farmland in Warrick Country, Indiana. Majestic oaks and pines rose up to greet the visitors, curious forest animals scurried through brush, and native flora wafted a sweet aroma in the breeze. The men were searching for an ideal section of land to create a golfing paradise. Ironically, they were in the community of Paradise, Indiana. This pristine land would become the setting for their venture - a place where they, and others who shared their passion for the game, could play a relaxing round of golf amidst nature's splendor. As you walk the grounds today, it isn't hard to imagine that first early spring stroll by our club's founders. Small wildlife still inhabit the trees that tower above the course, and the spring and summer flowers still fill the air with their intoxicating fragrance. A lot has changed since we began, but a lot has stayed the same....and we savor it all.
